Accounting Division

The accounting department performs a variety of bookkeeping tasks involved in processing circuit court receipts and maintaining appropriate financial and account information.  Some activities include:

  • Accepting and providing receipts for payments received in person or through the mail
  • Maintaining and balancing accounts
  • Making various financial transmittals and disbursements
  • Preparing and running a variety of financial reports for daily, monthly and annual balancing
 

The accounting department is also responsible for remitting collected funds to the appropriate government agencies.
