Collections

NOTE: WE ARE NOT ATTORNEYS AND CANNOT GIVE LEGAL ADVICE.

Unpaid or delinquent fines and fees can be referred to collections. Accounts placed with a collection agency will have 30% added to the amount due per Illinois public act 93-0693. This public act mandates that the violator bear all third-party collection fees caused by the violators failure to meet his or her obligation to the court.

Once a case has been placed in collections, you must make your payment through them.

Please visit CreditCollectionPartners.gif to locate your case, ask questions regarding payments and to make a payment. If you have any questions regarding your case, please contact the clerk’s office and we will be glad to answer your question. On the left side of this screen, click on Circuit Clerk Directory.

The account number is not the case number, and is not needed to locate your case information.

Enter your current zip code, not necessarily your zip code when the case was placed with collections.
